K-1 Explore Day

Incoming Kindergarten and First Grade students have the option to experience a day in the classroom with our K-2 teachers, Mrs. Szczech and Mrs. Davenport. This event is hosted on a satellite classroom day, so our students will not be on site, but instead we welcome you and your child to experience a half-day of student life at TAA! (And possibly the first time at school for many.)  Students will participate in multiple disciplines of study, including nature study, phonics, math, and composer study, with parents present to observe and come alongside. An information meeting will be hosted for the parents as part of this event from 10:30-12:00, and parents may attend this in leiu of the required Open House. Time is 9:00-12:00.

Please pack a nut-free snack and snow gear for your child.

PreK/K Explore Dates:

  • Friday, February 23rd
  • Friday, April 13th

Info Meetings

Info Meetings take place on our school campus and give an overview of the school's mission and core commitments, philosophy of education, and curriculum, as well as a tour of the school. We do require that at least one parent (guardian) visit classrooms while in session in order to complete application, so Info Meetings provide an opportunity for parents to get to know the school prior to scheduling a visit, or for a spouse or others not available during school hours to see the school, ask questions, and learn more.

  • Monday, February 26th
  • Thursday, April 12th
